Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Doncaster is seeking a Maintenance Plumber to perform planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs and fault finding across plumbing and mechanical systems within a facility.

The role includes installing water systems, supporting on-site project teams, and ensuring health and safety compliance. Experience in maintenance plumbing and a relevant plumbing qualification are required, with opportunities to train peers.

Qualifications

• NVQ / City & Guilds Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing.
• Previous experience in a maintenance plumbing role.
• Good knowledge of plumbing systems and maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs, installations, replacements, testing and fault-finding on water supply and distribution systems.
• Install water systems, pipework and fixtures in line with drawings, specifications, regulations and industry standards.
• Maintain waste and vent pipe systems using appropriate equipment such as drain rods, plungers and jet washers.
• Support contractors and on-site teams with plumbing expertise during projects and equipment installations.
• Complete plumbing safety inspections and planned preventative maintenance tasks, including backflow devices where certified.
• Respond to emergency call-outs and breakdown situations.
• Provide guidance and basic plumbing training to maintenance colleagues.
• Carry out general building maintenance duties as directed.
• Undertake any other duties reasonably requested by management.
