Job summary
Smart Managed Solutions is seeking an experienced Maintenance Plumber to join our Nottingham team on a prestigious contract. The role involves performing PPM tasks and reactive/breakdown work on plumbing systems in a commercial environment, with a split shift 06:00–14:30 and 11:00–19:30, and occasional weekend rotation.
You will need City & Guilds Level 2/3 or NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing, and deliver high standards of workmanship while complying with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Formally trained in Plumbing to City and Guilds Level 2/3 or NVQ Level 2/3.
- Experience with commercial plumbing systems and responsive maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair plumbing systems in commercial buildings.
- Fix leaks, blockages, and broken fixtures (toilets, taps, sinks, urinals).
- Repair or replace pipes, valves, and backflow prevention devices.
- Conduct scheduled checks and routine servicing of plumbing systems to prevent failures.
- Test and maintain pressure systems, hot water units, grease traps, and sewer connections.
- Modify or upgrade plumbing systems to meet operational needs or regulatory changes.
