Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is recruiting a Maintenance Plumber to join our team based in Peterborough. The role involves carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, testing, installation and fault finding on plumbing and mechanical systems across the facility.

You will support general building maintenance, work with contractors, and provide guidance to colleagues on plumbing practices while ensuring safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• NVQ / City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing.
• Previous experience in a maintenance plumbing role.
• Good knowledge of plumbing systems and maintenance practices.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent time management and organisational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs, installations, replacements, testing and fault-finding on water supply and distribution systems according to drawings and regulations.
• Install water systems, pipework and fixtures with compliance to specifications.
• Maintain waste and vent pipe systems using appropriate equipment.
• Support on-site teams and contractors with plumbing expertise on projects.
• Perform plumbing safety inspections and planned maintenance tasks, including backflow devices when certified.
