Job Description:
We’re looking for a Maintenance Planner who can translate a maintenance schedule into reality by managing resources and stakeholders to maximize available time on production equipment. The planner will also scope and manage non-routine works, including contractor management, safe job practices, and handover to operations.
Previous technical background as a technician or engineer
Experienced PC user (SAP, Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint), production planning systems
Experience in manufacturing environment, including planning and scheduling (desirable)
Electrical background (beneficial)
Manage scheduling of planned maintenance to optimize production downtime
Convert maintenance requests into actionable work orders, determine resource needs, and set up technicians for success
Manage the backlog of work orders for your production area
Coordinate with contractors and ensure outsourced maintenance is executed to best practices, managing onsite contractors effectively
Collaborate with operations and other planners to prioritize tasks effectively
