Job summary

FBC UK is seeking a proactive Maintenance Scheduler for our Llantarnam Bakery engineering team. You will coordinate planned maintenance, manage schedules, and support asset reliability on a busy site.

You will work closely with the Engineering Planning Manager to plan, prioritise and execute maintenance activities, ensuring safety, efficiency and continuous improvement across the site.

Qualifications

• Strong IT skills with MS Office applications.
• Advanced Excel capability to analyse data and produce reports.
• Experience in a maintenance planning, scheduling or engineering administration role.
• Experience using CMMS (Shire CMMS or similar) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the Engineering Planning Manager in delivering the site engineering plan and KPIs through planning, scheduling and maintenance administration.
• Produce and maintain weekly engineering schedules with prioritised, resourced, communicated tasks.
• Create and administer maintenance work orders and PPM tasks in the CMMS; log and track activities.
• Monitor, review and close completed work orders; keep records accurate and compliant.
• Prepare, print and distribute maintenance work orders and supporting docs to engineering teams.
• Analyse engineering performance data and produce KPI reports to support decisions.
• Maintain engineering administration, documentation and filing; ensure audit readiness.
• Be a point of contact for queries on the engineering schedule and maintenance plan.
• Provide cover for the Engineering Planning Manager during absences to ensure continuity.
• Assist with Engineering Stores and spend processes; maintain accurate stock records.
• Build strong relationships with Engineering, Operations and site teams for effective collaboration.
• Identify opportunities to improve maintenance planning and asset performance.
• Support personal development and learning within the Engineering team.
• Advocate for company values and a safety, accountability, and continuous improvement culture.
