Job summary

2 Sisters Food Group in Rogerstone, Newport, is seeking a proactive Maintenance Planner to join our Engineering team. You will plan, schedule and drive equipment reliability in a fast-paced FMCG setting, maximising uptime and supporting world-class manufacturing standards.

You will work closely with Engineering, Operations and Supply Chain to create and manage maintenance plans, lead weekly planning meetings, and ensure the CMMS is used to its full potential.

Qualifications

• Experienced in maintenance planning and CMMS systems.
• Familiar with preventative maintenance and production scheduling.
• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage the site's maintenance planning and scheduling activities.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance plans through the CMMS system.
• Align maintenance schedules with production plans to minimise downtime.
• Lead weekly planning meetings and prioritise maintenance workloads.
• Act as the link between Engineering, Production and Planning teams.
• Identify gaps, risks and improvement opportunities before they impact performance.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Support contractor management and ensure site standards compliance.

What You’ll Be Doing

Maintenance Planner

Location: Rogerstone, Newport

Monday to Friday | 7 AM to 3 PM

What We’re Looking For

• Engineering or maintenance background, ideally within FMCG or manufacturing.
• Experience with maintenance planning, CMMS systems and preventative maintenance.
• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong organisational, IT and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to understand production plans and coordinate engineering activities accordingly
• Self-motivated individual who takes initiative and challenges existing ways of working.
