Overview

This is an ideal opportunity to take control of the PPM and ad-hoc maintenance at a growing site at our Newmarket (CB8) based client.

You will be an experienced Maintenance Planner having built your experience within fast paced manufacturing, engineering or production environments having demonstrable exposure to driving efficiency, designing proactive maintenance schedules and improving uptime.

Responsibilities

• Planning and coordinating all maintenance activities site-wide reducing planned downtime.
• Taking the lead on further developing the CMMS to ensure scheduling, resource planning and documentation are optimal.
• Deal with and resolve unplanned maintenance, downtime and faults effectively and swiftly, communicating clearly across departments to allow effective planning.
• Seeking continuous improvement opportunities and liaising with Engineering and Operational management to implement plans.

About you

• Demonstrable maintenance planning experience, preferably in a high volume environment.
• Strong knowledge in Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) systems and CMMS platforms.
• Able to effectively communicate at all levels of the organisation.
• A proactive, problem-solving approach with a keen eye for detail.
• Highly organised with the ability to plan into the future with the flexibility to pivot to immediate needs when required.
