Homes for Students is seeking a Maintenance Operative for Mercury House in Bournemouth. You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance, ensure statutory compliance, and maintain the condition of the property, liaising with suppliers and contractors.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in property maintenance or trained in a trade.
• Knowledge of safe working methods including COSHH and manual handling.
• Awareness of Health and Safety and legal requirements.
• Excellent customer care and ability to report progress.
• Excellent organisation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Proactive approach with initiative to resolve issues quickly.
• Team player with a flexible approach to work.
