Are you a competent and multiskilled Maintenance professional looking for a new challenge?

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Operative to join a multi-skilled team, providing property maintenance and repair services to our care homes and other areas of the business. You will carry out both planned and reactive maintenance tasks such as plumbing, plastering, painting, basic electrical work, and gardening.

You should be comfortable performing a range of maintenance and property upkeep tasks across Leicestershire and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and complete maintenance and repair tasks in our homes.
• Perform maintenance duties as required, collaborating with the wider maintenance team.
• Follow health and safety regulations and report issues promptly.
• Willingness to work one Saturday every six weeks.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

Experience in all aspects of general maintenance, including plastering, building, decorating, and basic plumbing, is essential. You should have excellent communication skills, be proficient with powered tools, work independently and as part of a team, and be comfortable using IT systems like Jira. A full driving license and flexibility to travel are required.
