Salary: Base salary of £24,650
Flexible working: Monday to Friday
Holiday: 30 days holiday inclusive of Bank Holidays

The maintenance operative is responsible for domestic repairs & maintenance of the premises, minor projects, and compliance for site operation.
- Ensure the environment is safe, welcoming, clean, hygienic, in good repair, and sensitive to the needs of students.
- Maintain high standards of record keeping and reporting related to the site.
- Participate in and undertake regular audits of quality systems.
- Inspect and address contractor works that fall below standards.
- Ensure compliance with national regulations and inspection standards relevant to the establishment.
- Maintain environmental health standards and regulatory compliance.
- Manage workload proactively and effectively.
- Liaise with the Regional Facilities Manager on projects and technical matters.
- Identify projects to improve the facility's image, functionality, or efficiency.
- Complete projects on time and leave contractor areas in good condition.
- Maintain grounds upkeep.
- Building and maintenance knowledge.
- Experience with compliance and record keeping.
- Building trade background preferred but not essential.
Requirements include an enhanced DBS check and references, conducted in line with regulations. Online searches of candidates will be performed for safeguarding purposes. Employees are responsible for promoting equality and challenging discrimination in all forms.
