HC-One Maintenance Operative Role

HC-One is seeking a Maintenance Operative with solid experience in maintenance, building, DIY, cleaning, and housekeeping. Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems is essential, and IT skills are preferred. The ideal candidate will communicate considerately and kindly with residents and colleagues.

The role involves ensuring residents live in a proactively inspected and well-maintained environment. Responsibilities include conducting audits, maintaining records, and performing repairs such as replacing taps, fitting extractor fans, repairing windows, or decorating. A focus on kindness and respect is paramount.

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. Candidates must recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, attend relevant safeguarding training, and know how to report concerns appropriately.
