Job summary

Tenpin is looking for a Maintenance Operative to keep our bowling site in excellent condition. You will ensure all equipment functions daily and safety remains a priority for customers and colleagues, while assisting with bowling lane repairs and general maintenance to deliver a great experience.

Responsibilities include diagnosing faults, painting and decorating, plumbing and non-electrical repairs, and maintaining a clean, safe environment across the venue with strong attention to detail and

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar maintenance role in a public venue.
• Skilled in painting, decorating and basic plumbing tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify faults and diagnose repairs across site facilities.
• Carry out painting, decorating and minor repairs.
• Repair damaged plumbing fixtures and fittings and assist with non-electrical maintenance.
• Assist with bowling-related repairs such as bumpers and seating areas.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and daily operations to ensure a great guest experience.

The Role

Our Maintenance Operatives play a vital role in our site's wellbeing,We take great pride with the environment in which we operate, and it is the Maintenance Operatives responsibility to ensure that all equipment is fully functioning on a daily basis, keeping the safety of our customers and colleagues at the forefront of everything that they do and ensuring our customers have a great experience every day, This role will also assist with any bowling, or lane repairs and maintenance.

To identify and diagnose faults and to carry out repairs, adjustments and other maintenance works as appropriate, including but not limited to:

• Areas of the site that require painting and re-touching
• Low level decoration/repair of damaged walls or skirting
• Damaged toilet locks and soap dispensers
• Broken wall tiles, floor tiles, soiled/damaged carpet tiles
• Damaged furniture (excluding fabric repair or replacement)
• Removing graffiti from internal and external areas of the site
• Assist the CSA-Pin in any bowling related repairs such as bumpers and customer seating areas
• Undertaking such other duties commensurate with the responsibilities of the role and any other reasonable management request

Skills You Need

• Knowledge and experience in a similar role
• Experience of painting, decorating, plumbing and non-electrical maintenance
• Excellent attention to detail
• Positive attitude
• Good communication skills
