Here at Winner Recruitment, we are working with a leading Service Provider who are seeking a Maintenance Operative to join our dynamic team and help deliver world-class facilities management solutions across a single site in Borehamwood.

The role will involve performing planned and reactive maintenance across general fabric maintenance such as fixing door handles, tightening door handles, replacing toilet seats, minor electrics, checking power supplies, cleaning of kitchen, collecting post, and unblocking toilets

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of internal and external post distribution on site.
• Provide and log inductions for contractors and visitors on behalf of the client.
• Act as the first point of contact for issue resolution, liaising with the wider CBRE team and contractors to ensure timely completion of reactive tasks.
• Conduct regular site inspections and report any concerns or issues to the Regional Manager; proactively chase up outstanding faults.
• Represent the Facilities Management function on site, delivering a high standard of customer service at all times.
• Escalate staff-reported concerns related to the building or services to the client team as necessary.

Cleaning & Housekeeping:

Perform basic cleaning tasks in kitchen and toilet areas, including:

• Cleaning surfaces
• Topping up consumables
• Emptying bins

Fabric Maintenance:

Carry out minor fabric repairs, such as:

• Tightening loose door handles and catches
• Adjusting or replacing toilet seats
• Securing furniture fixings
• Installing or adjusting monitor arms

Electrical Tasks:

Perform basic electrical maintenance, including:

• Replacing desktop fuses
• Checking power supply from sockets to desks
• Inspecting distribution board breakers
• Replacing lamps

Plumbing Tasks:

Undertake minor plumbing duties, such as:

• Isolating water supplies
• Unblocking toilets, sinks, and urinals
• Tightening waste fittings
• Descaling drinks boilers

Additional Duties:

• Perform basic HVAC adjustments as required.
• Assist with fire alarm testing.
• Carry out any reasonable task within normal working hours, as logged on the CAFM system.
