Advinia Healthcare is seeking an experienced Maintenance person to help keep our care homes safe, clean and well maintained for residents. You will work with the Maintenance Manager to perform routine servicing and basic plumbing/electrical tasks, ensuring accurate records and clear communication with staff and residents.

The role includes on-call duties, ongoing training and opportunities for career progression within a supportive, values-driven environment.

Formación

• Basic plumbing and electrical maintenance.
• Excellent communication with Home Manager, staff and residents.
• Ability to work on call duties when required.
• Will participate in regular safety checks and servicing.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to keep residents' environment safe and well maintained.
• Carry out routine safety checks and record keeping for equipment.
• Communicate clearly with Home Manager, colleagues, residents and visitors.
• Perform basic plumbing and electrical maintenance tasks.
• Assist with cleaning, furniture assembly, painting and decoration.

Your role will include:

• Working closely with the Maintenance Manager or nominated colleagueto make sure that our residents live in a place that is safe and well maintained at all times
• Ensuring that regular safety checks and servicing is carried out on all equipment and accurate records are kept.
• Having excellent communication with the Home Manager and also the Residents
• Basic plumbing and electrical maintenance
• Clearing and Cleaning general areas
• Assembling furniture
• Painting and decorating

This position will require on call duties

You must have excellent communication skills with Manager's, Colleagues, Residents and Visitors to the Home.
