Job summary

Inspire Neurocare in the United Kingdom is seeking a Maintenance Officer to join our clinical and support teams across Basingstoke, Farnborough, Southampton and Worcester. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance to keep our environment safe, functional and welcoming for residents, visitors and staff.

You will handle electrical, plumbing, carpentry and painting tasks, supervise external contractors, and maintain records.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in maintenance and repair work.
• Good problem-solver with a positive, proactive approach.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Able to demonstrate Health and Safety awareness through discussion.

Responsibilities

• Deliver routine maintenance, repairs, and safety checks across the service.
• Conduct basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting tasks.
• Monitor and maintain equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Oversee external contractors and support service visits.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and inspections.
• Ensure the environment is safe, clean, and fully operational for residents, visitors and staff.

At our neurorehabilitation services in Basingstoke, Farnborough, Southampton and Worcester, we support adults of all ages with specialist neurorehabilitation and complex nursing care.

At Inspire Neurocare we provide a compassionate and caring environment for our resident's and we are looking for a skilled and reliable Maintenance Officer to join our dedicated team. This role is essential in ensuring our environment remains safe, functional, and welcoming for our service users, visitors and staff.

As the Maintenance Officer you will take responsibility for the day-to-day up keep of the centre, carrying out a variety of planned and reactive maintenance tasks. You'll work closely with clinical and support teams to ensure the building and grounds meet high safety and quality standards, supporting the smooth operation of our rehabilitation services.

Key Responsibilities
