Our care home, part of the Care Concern Group, is situated with views of the Campsie Hills near Clydebank. We offer high standards of Nursing, Residential, Dementia, Respite, and Palliative Care for up to 66 residents.

Maintenance Officer Role

We are seeking a Maintenance Officer to ensure our building and equipment are maintained to the highest standards, creating a safe and comfortable environment for residents and staff.

Role Significance

Your role is vital in enhancing the daily lives of residents by maintaining a safe, functional, and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Repairs: Fixing leaks, broken fixtures, and other maintenance issues.
2. Electrical Checks: Inspecting control panels and wiring to prevent issues.
3. Installation & Upgrades: Installing new appliances and equipment.
4. Outdoor Maintenance: Groundskeeping tasks like lawn mowing and waste collection.
5. Lighting & Upkeep: Replacing bulbs and general maintenance.
6. Safety Checks: Regularly testing fire alarms and safety systems.
7. Building Maintenance: Repairing damages to surfaces and structures.
8. Project Involvement: Participating in renovations and improvements.
9. Reporting: Collaborating with the facilities or maintenance manager on issues.
10. Standards Compliance: Ensuring work meets quality, health, and safety standards.
11. Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and be on-call for emergencies.
