YMCA Fairthorne Group is seeking a practical Maintenance Officer to help keep our housing and community spaces safe, welcoming and compliant. You’ll carry out reactive and planned maintenance across our estate, support health and safety compliance, and maintain grounds and communal areas to ensure properties operate smoothly and securely.
You’ll work with the Facilities Management Team to inspect, repair and improve buildings, manage routine inspections like emergency lighting and fire safety,

Working across our charity's estate, you'll carry out reactive and planned maintenance, support health and safety compliance, maintain grounds and communal areas, and help ensure our properties consistently meet statutory, mandatory and legal requirements.
You'll work closely with the Facilities Management Team and colleagues across the organisation to keep our buildings operating safely and effectively every day.
