Job summary

MKC Training is seeking a Maintenance Mechanical Fitter to inspect, test and repair mechanical equipment across our training workshops in Kent. The role is full-time, 37 hours per week, based on site with salary £36k rising to £38k after probation.

You will join a reputable facility offering ongoing training, generous benefits and opportunities for career progression. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship or C&G/NVQ or equivalent qualification is required.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering diagrams and charts.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test and repair mechanical machinery and equipment used in training workshops, offices and classrooms.
• Operate machine tools such as turning, milling and bench fitting as required.
• Maintain high safety and quality standards while working across multiple sites and equipment.
