Job summary

Hexcel in the UK seeks a Maintenance Manager at our Duxford site to lead all maintenance activities, drive reliability and manage a cross-functional team. You will work with contractors, ensure regulatory compliance and deliver costed maintenance plans across facilities and equipment.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive CMMS experience and a track record of improving uptime in a manufacturing setting. A recognised engineering qualification and UK work eligibility are essential.

Qualifications

• Significant maintenance management experience in manufacturing or regulated environments.
• Experience leading shift-based maintenance teams and developing people.
• Strong knowledge of CMMS, maintenance planning and preventative programmes.
• Good understanding of UK statutory compliance for facilities and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead all in-house and outsourced maintenance activities, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Manage, lead and develop the maintenance team, including recruitment and training.
• Oversee external contractors, ensuring performance against standards and SLAs.
• Develop and improve maintenance strategies to maximise reliability and uptime.
• Monitor KPIs, equipment performance and maintenance costs with reporting to Finance.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis investigations and implement corrective actions.
