Job Description:

My client is seeking a proactive and experienced Maintenance Manager to join their luxury boutique hotel in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the upkeep and technical operations of a premium property, ensuring the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all maintenance operations, ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and conducting regular inspections.
  • Manage and maintain the hotel’s fixtures, fittings, building systems, and overall facilities.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules, budgets, and improvement initiatives to optimise performance and reduce costs.
  • Lead a small team and coordinate external contractors for both routine and project-based work.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within a hotel or luxury property, with a solid understanding of building systems and maintenance operations.
  • Professional qualification in facilities management and Health & Safety certification.
  • Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation, risk assessments, and compliance standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and IT skills, with attention to detail and team leadership capability.
