Job summary

Hewett-Recruitment is seeking a Maintenance Manager in Worcester for a leading global manufacturer. The role focuses on ownership of site engineering operations, leading a high-performing team and driving improvements in reliability, efficiency and overall performance.

You will utilise CMMS, manage budgets and spare parts, ensure statutory inspections are completed safely, and support capital projects and continuous improvement across the site.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree and recognised engineering qualification (HNC/HND or equivalent).
• Experience leading engineering or maintenance teams in manufacturing.
• Strong people management, planning and organisational skills.
• Financial awareness and budget management experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with SAP or CMMS systems.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S or Six Sigma methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop the engineering team to achieve site performance objectives.
• Drive maintenance strategy, reliability improvements and equipment effectiveness.
• Manage engineering budgets, maintenance spend and spare parts inventory.
• Ensure all statutory inspections and maintenance activities are completed safely and on time.
• Support capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
• Utilise CMMS and maintenance systems to develop planned maintenance strategies.
• Work closely with operational teams to deliver OEE improvements and support future growth plans.
