The Maintenance Manager at Hartlepool will lead a team of 17 maintenance staff and two apprentices, delivering a proactive maintenance service across equipment, facilities and assets. You will report to the UK Engineering Manager and collaborate with Production, Engineering, HSE and other teams to maximise uptime.

Responsibilities include prioritising maintenance work, planning, budgeting and supplier management, while driving root-cause problem solving and continuous improvement.

Competenze

• Minimum HNC qualification in engineering.
• At least five years in a similar, complex fast-paced manufacturing role.
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop a maintenance team.
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of production processes.
• Excellent organisation, planning and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
• Knowledge of safety requirements including LOTOTO, COSHH, DSEAR and HAVS.

The Company:

A manufacturing business is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead its engineering maintenance team in a complex, fast-paced environment. This is an opportunity to improve equipment reliability, develop people and shape maintenance practices across a plant operating 24/7.

Working Hours:

Day shift, 37.5 hours per week.

Job Description:

As Maintenance Manager, you will lead a team of 17 maintenance staff and two apprentices, delivering a safe, proactive maintenance service across operational equipment, facilities and assets.

The Maintenance Manager reports to the UK Engineering Manager and works closely with Production, Engineering, HSE and other key teams to maximise equipment uptime.

Your responsibilities will include:
