Job summary

You will spearhead preventive maintenance strategies, support engineering projects, and ensure Health and Safety standards across the operation. The position offers a permanent contract with a competitive salary based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance activities across two sites.
• Improve preventative maintenance schedules and processes.
• Manage engineering and maintenance improvement projects.
• Fault-find and maintain pumps, motors, impellers, pneumatic and fluid systems.
• Support mechanical and electrical maintenance activities.
• Produce monthly reports on objectives and site performance.
• Ensure Health and Safety standards are followed.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to meet production needs.
• Support out-of-hours callouts and shift coverage.
• Drive continuous improvement across the engineering function.

Location: Oldbury

Contract Basis: Permanent

Pay Rate: A GBP 50,000 : A GBP 60,000 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Manager to join a growing engineering and manufacturing environment operating within the automotive and specialist coatings sectors. This role will see you leading maintenance operations across two busy sites, ensuring maximum equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement across the business.

The Maintenance Manager will play a key role in driving preventative maintenance strategies, supporting engineering projects, and maintaining high standards of Health and Safety while working closely with internal stakeholders to support production requirements.

Key Responsibilities Of The Maintenance Manager

• Lead and manage maintenance activities across two operational sites
• Manage and improve preventative maintenance schedules and engineering processes
• Project manage engineering and maintenance improvement activities
• Fault find and maintain pumps, motors, impellers, pneumatic and fluid systems
• Support both mechanical and electrical maintenance activities
• Produce monthly reports relating to engineering objectives and site performance
• Ensure Health and Safety standards and procedures are consistently maintained
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to support operational requirements
• Support out:of:hours callouts and provide shift or holiday cover where required
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the engineering function

Hours: Monday : Friday
Pay: A GBP 50,000 : A GBP 60,000 per annum
