Job Description

Are you a handyperson? A practical powerhouse who carries tools in case of an emergency? Can you spot a maintenance problem before it even becomes one?

You’ll make Locke feel like home by keeping our building and apartments looking fresh, so our guests feel comfortable, relaxed, and cared-for. Reporting to the Head of Facilities, with a dotted line to the General Manager, you’ll oversee services, repairs, painting, and upkeep of apartments to high standards.

What you’ll need

• Human-led leadership skills and experience managing a team
• Ideally plumbing, gas, and electrical trade qualifications
• Experience of launching a new building (preferred)
• Excellent customer service skills
• Natural influencing skills with a knack for managing expectations
• Reliable decision-making
• Confidence to act quickly and take smart risks based on insight
• Strong spoken and written English skills
• Impeccable attention to detail
• Excellent time management
• Flexible approach and a can-do attitude
• Confidence in using IT systems and software (including Microsoft Office)
