Job summary

You will join Apex Hotels as a Cluster Maintenance Manager for London properties, leading a multi-disciplined maintenance team and driving engineering operations across the cluster. The role involves ensuring high standards of guest experience, equipment upkeep, and compliance with health and safety requirements.

Based across the London cluster, you will rotate between properties and contribute to strategic objectives, cost controls, and capital projects while maintaining exceptional service

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, scheduling, and delivery of maintenance programmes across properties.
• Develop and deliver annual OPEX and CAPEX plans.
• Control maintenance consumable costs against budgets.
• Drive quality standards and property upkeep through meetings and reviews.
• Oversee use of the Engineering Management System to support efficiency and compliance.
• Lead health, safety, compliance and building security activities.
• Produce cost-benefit analyses and business cases for capital investment.
• Coach and develop the engineering team to maximise productivity.
• Collaborate with hotel leadership and external stakeholders on strategic objectives.

Role Overvie

wOur Cluster Maintenance Manager will always be motivated and highly engaged to provide personalised world class customer care and service to all guests, team members, clients and directors, in line with our brand standards and procedures – ensuring every guest request is completed promptly and decisively, and aspiring to make the impossible, possible

.As part of the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for leading a multi-disciplined maintenance team in the delivery of the short and long-term planning and management of the engineering operations for the cluster properties, across both the front and back of house. You will ensure an efficient and economic running of the engineering disciplines, supplying services as required to the entire operation and maintaining equipment, building and utility services in optimum condition

.This role will include operational cluster shift coverage across a seven-day senior duty management rota and working between properties on a rotational basis
