We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to ensure all planned and preventative maintenance tasks, health and safety compliance checks, and building fabric repairs are completed on time and to a high standard.
The ideal candidate will possess a relevant NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in electrical, mechanical, or building trades, or be a specialist in a given field with significant experience in the construction industry. The Maintenance Manager will line manage a Maintenance Assistant and serve as the first point of contact for all contractors on site.
The candidate should have a solid knowledge of Health and Safety, including moving and handling techniques, COSHH/Risk Assessments, legionella prevention, and fire safety. Practical skills in minor building fabric repairs such as plumbing, joinery, and decoration are required, along with a good working knowledge of electrical and manual hand tools. Excellent IT skills (MS Office), communication skills, and organizational abilities are essential. A valid UK driving license is also required.
