Maintenance Manager at an industry leading renewable energy power plant. Responsible for leading and developing a small team in carrying out all maintenance on site.

Client Details

This organisation are a UK leader in energy from waste with a growing portfolio of operations across the Midlands. This site, based in South Leicestershire, is a state of the art 24/7 facility looking to improve an already strong level of plant availability.

Description

As Maintenance Manager you will report into the Plant Manager, responsible for a small team of multi-skilled Technicians. The role is days based and would work alongside the Operations Manager.

You will be responsible for:

• Managing the Maintenance Team with the responsibility for planning & team development
• Leading on all day-to-day maintenance & PPMs across the site, improving CMMS utilisation
• Driving a proactive culture in pursuit of increased availability
• Working with the Plant Manager to ensure shutdowns are well planned and executed

Profile

As Maintenance Manager this candidate will have strong maintenance experience and qualification, alongside the following:

• Experience ideally within energy to waste/power generation would also consider steam, petrochemical or aggregates industry
• Proven in leading other Engineers/Technicians
• Experience with CMMS
• Initiative & drive to solve problems
• Keen eye for safety
