Qualifications
- 5+ years’ relevant experience in water hygiene.

- Knowledge of HSG274 and HTM04-01.

Salary: £45,000 to £55,000
About the Role:
We’re looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to lead Water Hygiene operations at one of the largest healthcare facilities.
You’ll oversee compliance, maintenance, and water safety across the site, managing both in-house technicians and subcontractors. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of healthcare engineering and water hygiene legislation.
Key Responsibilities:- Act as the Responsible Person for water hygiene
- Manage teams and subcontractors
- Maintain water hygiene logbooks and trackers
- Attend Water Safety Group and client meetings
- Review and implement risk assessments, SOPs, and written schemes
- Ensure training and audit compliance
- Support infection prevention investigations
- Manage PPM schedules, remedials, and contractor performance
- Take part in On Call rota and confined space AP duties
Requirements:- 5+ years’ relevant experience
- Strong water hygiene background (tank cleans, monitoring, installations)
- Water Hygiene RP qualified
- NEBOSH/IOSH certified
- Knowledge of HSG274, HTM04-01
- Healthcare facilities experience preferred
- Full UK Driving Licence
