As the Maintenance Team Leader, your responsibilities include:

• Providing technical leadership to a team of multi-skilled technicians responsible for repairing, maintaining, and installing machinery and equipment across the plant to meet operational needs efficiently and safely.
• Ensuring safety and quality standards are met, promoting a proactive EHS culture focused on zero harm.
• Delivering and adhering to the maintenance plan, optimizing resource allocation to maximize plant output.
• Collaborating with engineers, reliability specialists, and production staff to reduce downtime through prompt issue resolution and resource coordination.
• Ensuring technicians possess the necessary skills, knowledge, and equipment to support operational needs.
• Monitoring and reporting on KPIs related to equipment reliability and maintenance performance.

Minimum requirements for the role:

• Successful leadership experience in a maintenance environment.
• Formal engineering qualification such as HNC/HND or equivalent recognized training.
• Experience supervising or managing small teams.
• Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing methodologies and problem-solving tools like root cause analysis.
• Understanding of ISO 9001, 14001, 18001 standards.
• Chemical safety awareness and COSHH knowledge.
• Experience using performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
