Join our team as a Maintenance Lead and play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of two specialist healthcare services, making a real difference to the experience of patients, staff and visitors every day. Working closely with the Support Services Manager, you will lead and support a maintenance team at St Neots Neurological Centre ensuring a high standard of maintenance is delivered the site. You will oversee day‑to‑day maintenance activities, prioritise workloads, review work schedules and ensure repairs and maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. In this varied and rewarding role, you will support the organisation and completion of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes, ensuring all statutory and compliance requirements are met. You will coordinate contractors on site, providing guidance and local support to ensure works are completed safely, on time and to the required standard. You will also identify, prioritise and respond to faults, damage and maintenance issues, ensuring buildings and facilities remain safe, compliant and fit for purpose. As Maintenance Lead, you will be responsible for promoting a strong health and safety culture, ensuring all maintenance activities are carried out in line with organisational policies, procedures and statutory regulations. You will also support administrative processes, including purchase orders, invoice approval and budget monitoring, while contributing to Health & Safety, Clinical Governance and Senior Management Team meetings as required.
