Job summary

Camden Council is seeking a Labourer to support repairs and maintenance across housing, public buildings and other premises. You will assist skilled tradespeople with repairs, maintenance and refurbishment, delivering reactive and programmed works to meet standards.

You will be reliable, able to work on your own initiative, communicate with customers and colleagues, and help manage workloads to meet service standards. A Basic DBS is required; contract is 12 months fixed term.

Qualifications

• Experience in a maintenance, construction, or property environment.
• Good understanding of building trades and safe working practices.
• Ability to work using own initiative and communicate with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Support skilled tradespeople with repairs, maintenance and refurbishment works across occupied and void properties.
• Contribute to the delivery of reactive and programmed repair works.
• Work in a team to maintain services to tenants and other customers.
