OCS is seeking an experienced Maintenance Joiner to carry out planned maintenance and responsive repairs across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire. You will work independently and with the maintenance team to deliver high-quality joinery repairs, with knowledge of fire doors essential for compliance.

Applicants should hold a City & Guilds Joinery qualification, substantial hands-on experience, and a full driving license.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds qualification in Joinery.
• Substantial practical joinery experience including maintenance and repair work.
• Knowledge of fire doors and fire door compliance requirements.
• A safe, organised approach and pride in the quality of your work.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• A full driving licence.

Responsabilités

• Carry out joinery repairs and planned maintenance across a range of properties.
• Assess reported faults and complete appropriate repairs within agreed timescales.
• Apply your knowledge of fire doors to identify defects and complete work within your competence and training.
• Follow company procedures, site instructions and health and safety requirements.
• Use tools, plant and equipment safely and correctly.
• Complete accurate job records, timesheets and other required documentation.
• Work closely with colleagues and your line manager to keep maintenance tasks progressing.
• Maintain a tidy working area and provide a professional service to building users and clients.

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Joiner to carry out planned maintenance and responsive repairs across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.

You’ll use your joinery skills to complete repairs safely and to a high standard, working independently and alongside the wider maintenance team. Knowledge of fire doors and fire door compliance is important for this role.
