Job summary

New Appointments Group in Canterbury is seeking a Maintenance Operative on a temporary 3-month contract. The role is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, at £13.84 per hour with weekly pay.

• Respond to maintenance issues and ensure repairs are prioritised and completed within reasonable timescales.
• Help keep properties clean, tidy and safe, reporting issues such as waste, fly-tipping, pest control and other concerns.
• Liaise with specialist contractors when required.
• Complete planned and cyclical maintenance, including refurbishing and redecorating rooms when needed.
