Where will you be working?
As an organisation, there is little we don’t do and plenty to get involved in. Our Group Support roles are vital in making sure we can help over 11,000 people deliver essential infrastructure seamlessly across water, energy, transport and telecom.
This role is in our Plant & Fleet department, our Plant & Fleet supports teams across our business with their vehicle, plant and specialist equipment needs, offering hire solutions that are commercially effective, reliable, safe and compliant

What will you be doing?
At the heart of our success is the dedication to maintaining equipment to the highest standards. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring that key equipment—such as Platforms, Spacer Chairs, Hauling Bonds, Skysafe, and Running Out Blocks—is properly serviced, maintained, and inspected. Whether at the NDC or on-site, you’ll make sure everything meets manufacturer recommendations and is ready for action.
Collaboration is key, and you’ll work closely with the Delivery Foreman to fully understand project needs. By making the best use of available resources—including working across different departments—you’ll help keep operations running efficiently.
A big part of your role is ensuring equipment compliance on projects. You’ll plan on-site testing, inspections, and replacements in a timely manner, making sure everything is safe, functional, and aligned with requirements.
You’ll also work hand-in-hand with the Plant & Equipment Planner to maximize the use of internally owned equipment. By staying ahead of potential shortfalls, you’ll ensure everything is in place when it’s needed most.
Safety is always a top priority. You’ll encourage and promote a safe and consistent approach to loading and unloading at the NDC and storage yard, ensuring that safety measures are upheld across the entire site.
