Job description

Maintenance Fitter on Days Monday to Friday with our client who manufacture building materials across UK & Ireland

Providing maintenance support for the plant you will help ensure production runs smoothly, equipment is maintained to a high standard and downtime is minimal.

Suitable candidates will need to be Level 3 time served Mechanical/ Electrical with maintenance experience on production equipment

Monday to Thursday 7am - 5pm and Friday 7am - 3pm, with an on call rota (paid extra)

Salary negotiable on experience but will be very competitive for day shift

The Role

• Preventative and reactive maintenance on plant production equipment
• Fault finding and troubleshoot problems, carry out repairs quickly
• Work closely with production teams to enhance reliability and safety
• Welding and Fabrication
• Mechanical fitting, installation, refurb and improvements on machinery
• Routine inspections on equipment
• Work in line with Health & Safety

What we are looking for

• Level 3 Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or similar
• Maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Experience with welding and fabrication
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems
