McDonald’s United Kingdom in Cardiff is seeking a Maintenance Person to help keep the restaurant clean, safe and well-maintained, ensuring a high standard of service and a positive guest experience.

No experience is required as full training will be provided. You will perform upkeep tasks, coordinate with managers and contractors, and work shifts across weekdays and weekends, including early mornings, to keep the restaurant running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Inspect interior and exterior to meet high standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality.
• Carry out maintenance tasks including landscaping, painting, varnishing, and minor non-electrical repairs.
• Maintain parking facilities to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
• Organise and rotate food deliveries to support freshness and efficiency.
• Collaborate with management to identify and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
• Coordinate with external contractors to minimise disruption.
• Keep equipment and facilities in prime working condition.
• Complete tasks per training and guidelines.
• Follow safety, hygiene and operational procedures.
• Treat customers and colleagues with courtesy and respect.
• Work as a supportive team member contributing to a positive environment.
