Job summary

Stannah Stairlifts Limited in Newcastle is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to coordinate maintenance across production and site facilities. You will lead a team of Maintenance and Facilities Engineers, manage projects, and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently to meet business needs.

The role requires experience in facilities and production maintenance, contractor management, and a track record of supervising engineering teams.

Qualifications

Experience in facilities and production maintenance.
Experience managing contractors and engineering teams.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations (COSHH, LOLER, PUWER, RAMS).

Responsibilities

Coordinate and prioritise planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
Supervise and provide technical support to Maintenance and Facilities Engineering team.
Manage refurbishment and facilities improvement projects to meet safety and business requirements.
Monitor equipment performance and drive continuous improvement to reduce downtime.
Oversee contractor activities ensuring quality, safety and value for money.
