Job summary

Elevation Recruitment Group have partnered with a well established manufacturing company in Wakefield to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Engineer. Based on a dayshift, 6am to 2pm, you will maintain and service manufacturing equipment and diagnose faults to keep production lines running.

You should have an engineering apprenticeship or Level 3 in electrical engineering, strong fault-finding skills, PLC experience (Siemens), and a background in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Engineering apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in Electrical engineering.
• Electrical fault-finding skills.
• PLC experience.
• Manufacturing experience.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance, inspections, servicing, and repairs
• Diagnose and repair faults on manufacturing equipment
• Respond promptly to breakdown
• Reactive maintenance duties
• Undertake electrical fault-finding, replacing or repairing components
• Working on PLCs (Mainly Siemens)
• Assist with the installation, commissioning, relocation, and improvement of equipment
• Comply with health and safety procedure
