Job summary

Greencore Desserts Newark site in Newark, Nottinghamshire, is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to join a fast-paced, high-volume production environment. The role covers planned and predictive maintenance, breakdown response, and equipment changeovers, reporting to the Engineering Teams Manager.

Required qualifications include an engineering apprenticeship with electrical bias and CMMS experience; a strong focus on safety and adherence to SOPs is essential.

Qualifications

• Engineering apprenticeship and electrical bias required.
• Current edition of IET Wiring Regulations (C&G Level 3) to be achieved within 12 months.
• CMMS experience desired within 12 months.
• Ability to plan works and write reports.
• Reading and adhering to site SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct planned maintenance of processing and packaging assets.
• Conduct predictive maintenance (condition-based monitoring).
• Respond to breakdowns and perform corrective actions.
• Identify faults across electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, automation, pneumatics.
• Lead or support machinery changeovers and setups.
• Manufacture and repair components for assets.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects.
