Hunter Selection is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for Poole, Dorset. The role focuses on responding to machine breakdowns, preventative maintenance, and improving reliability within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications
- Formal engineering qualifications required (C&G Level 3 / NVQ Level 3 / apprenticeship trained).
- Experience in maintenance within manufacturing or production environments.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement and engineering standards.
Responsibilities
- Respond to machine breakdowns to minimise downtime and improve reliability.
- Execute planned maintenance and react to urgent maintenance needs.
- Apply root cause analysis and 5S as part of improvements.
- Support a culture of continuous improvement to eliminate recurring problems.
- Carry out routine preventative maintenance tasks.
- Record maintenance activities in an electronic reporting system.
