Job summary

Stirling Warrington Limited in Tamworth is seeking aMaintenance Engineer to repair and maintain bespoke machinery, with opportunities to progress toward supervision. The role offers a £45,000 base with substantial overtime potential, and weekend/shift flexibility as overtime pays significantly.

Training and career development are highlighted by the employer. Candidates should have at least 3 years’ experience in plant maintenance and an electrical qualification (C&G/BTEC/NVQ).

Qualifications

• Have at least 3 year’s experience repairing and maintaining special purpose plant machinery – multi-skilled.
• Electrical qualification equivalent to C&G/BTEC/NVQ.
• Read schematic drawings/electrical wiring diagrams; worked with 3-phase motors, sensors, drives, relays.
• PLC fault finding advantageous, but this is not essential.
• Manufacturing background welcome: FMCG/Food/Metals/Recycling/Automation/Foundry/Brick/Aerospace.
• Commutable from Birmingham, Walsall, Wolverhampton, west Bromwich Tamworth.
