Based in the Aberdeenshire area, they are seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer with an Electrical Bias to join their hands on Engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced, forward-thinking production environment where genuine love of the end product, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement are at the heart of operations.
The role:
Working within the Engineering department and across the production shift pattern, you will provide technical support to ensure the smooth and efficient running of manufacturing operations. This includes conducting preventative and corrective maintenance (PPM), executing high-quality repairs, improving equipment reliability, and ensuring full safety compliance.
The Candidate:
An ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in electrical fault finding, repair, and installation, alongside basic mechanical aptitude. You will have a solid grasp of industrial electrical systems, PLC fault diagnosis (not programming), and a working understanding of pneumatic systems. Familiarity with food safety standards and manufacturing within an FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods) environment is essential.
You should be comfortable using engineering systems, proficient in MS Word and Excel, and capable of interpreting technical documentation in English. A hands-on approach, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities will be crucial to your success.
