Job summary

Almac Pharma Services is seeking Maintenance Engineers (Mechanical or Electrical) to join the team in Craigavon. The role focuses on planned and unplanned maintenance, supporting installation and commissioning of new equipment, and ensuring production continuity.

Applicants should have City & Guilds Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Installation, plus post-apprenticeship maintenance experience, ideally in food/pharma packaging environments. UK work eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum City & Guilds Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• Post-apprenticeship practical experience in industrial maintenance, including installation of production equipment and planned/unplanned maintenance.
• Experience in food or pharmaceutical packaging equipment would be beneficial.
• Eligible to work in the UK, or hold a visa/work permit with no restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned and unplanned maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
• Support installation and commissioning of new process equipment.
• Maintain stock levels of replacement parts and update maintenance documentation.
• Complete maintenance reports and work with production staff to troubleshoot issues.
