Almac Pharma Services is seeking Maintenance Engineers (Mechanical or Electrical) to join the team in Craigavon. The role focuses on planned and unplanned maintenance, supporting installation and commissioning of new equipment, and ensuring production continuity.

Applicants should have City & Guilds Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Installation, plus post-apprenticeship maintenance experience, ideally in food/pharma packaging environments. UK work eligibility is required.

Competenze

• Minimum City & Guilds Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• Post-apprenticeship practical experience in industrial maintenance, including installation of production equipment and planned/unplanned maintenance.
• Experience in food or pharmaceutical packaging equipment would be beneficial.
• Eligible to work in the UK, or hold a visa/work permit with no restrictions.

Hours: 37.5 Hours Per Week

The Roles

Almac Pharma Services manufacture and package drugs and medicines, and develop new drug product formulations from our state-of-the-art, custom designed facilities. Our Maintenance Engineering Team are responsible for planning, executing, and ensuring all planned and unplanned maintenance operations within our facility are carried out efficiently and on time.

Due to our continued expansion, we are currently seeking experienced Maintenance Engineers (Mechanical or Electrical) to join our highly skilled team.

The Maintenance Engineer must work to engineering best practice standards and be compliant with cGMP. Daily responsibilities will include planned and unplanned maintenance, supporting the installation and commissioning of new process equipment, maintaining stock levels of replacement parts, completing documentation and maintenance reports, and working with production staff to troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly.

Essential / Desirable Requirements

• Ideal candidates will hold a minimum of City & Guilds Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Installation, or a relevant equivalent level qualification.
• You will also need relevant post-apprenticeship practical experience in industrial maintenance to include installation of production equipment and planned and unplanned maintenance of plant and production equipment.
• Previous maintenance experience within the food or pharmaceutical industry, and packaging and sealing equipment would be beneficial.
• All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK, or hold a valid visa/work permit that allows you to work in the UK with no restrictions.
