Job summary

ETS Consulting Ltd in Manchester is seeking a Mechanically Biased Maintenance Engineer to support a leading FMCG producer on a fast-paced packaging line. You will perform planned and preventative maintenance on blow moulding, flow wrappers, labeling and conveyors, ensuring maximum line efficiency.

The role requires an apprentice-trained mechanical engineer with hydraulic and automated machinery experience, able to fault-find and work in a team or autonomously.

Qualifications

• Minimum full apprenticeship in mechanical engineering.
• Experience with high-speed automated manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with hydraulic & automated machinery and packaging line equipment.
• PPM experience and ability to work in a team or autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned and preventative maintenance on high-speed packaging machinery.
• Fault find on blow moulding, flow wrappers, labeling, packaging and conveyor systems.
• Provide technical support for pipe work rationalisation and steel fabrication using welding skills.
• Work effectively in a team or autonomously as required.
