Job summary

Travail Employment Group is supporting a well‑established manufacturing business in Wellingborough to appoint an experienced Site Maintenance Engineer. The role covers maintaining specialist production machinery and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations across the site.

The successful candidate will perform electrical and mechanical diagnostics, PPM and respond to breakdowns, with occasional travel to the Peterborough site every other week using a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.
• 17th or 18th Edition required.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and mechanical diagnostics, repairs, and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on site machinery.
• Respond to machinery breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Carry out machinery modifications, upgrades and new installations as required.
