Job summary

Elix Sourcing Solutions is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for injection moulding tools in Washington, Tyne and Wear. You will perform maintenance on plastic mould tools in a fast-paced manufacturing environment at a state-of-the-art facility.

The role involves troubleshooting tooling issues, carrying out welding (MIG/TIG/ARC) as required, and implementing corrective actions. A background in plastics mould tooling maintenance is essential, with overtime expected on a 3-shift pattern.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining and repairing injection mould tools in a plastics moulding environment.
• Not suitable for candidates with only metal pressing or fabrication experience.
• Welding skills required across MIG, TIG and ARC as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repairs to plastic injection moulding tools.
• Troubleshoot mould tooling issues and implement corrective actions.
• Carry out MIG, TIG and ARC welding as required.
• Diagnose tooling failures and plan proactive maintenance.

Are you an experienced Die Maintenance Technician in Injection Mould tool environment, looking to join a well-established, global manufacturing company offering training, overtime and long-term career opportunities?

Due to continued growth, my client is looking for a Die Maintenance Technician in Injection Moulding to join the team, working out of their state-of-the-art facility in Washington.

You will be involved in planned and reactive maintenance on injection moulding tooling in a fast-paced production environment, as well as diagnosing tooling failures and implementing corrective actions. You will also be required to carry out MIG, TIG and Arc welding as required.

The ideal candidate will have experience maintaining and repairing injection mould tools within a plastics moulding manufacturing environment. Candidates with a background solely in metal pressing, fabrication will not be suitable.
