Job summary

Alliance Personnel are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer in Birmingham to maintain, troubleshoot and improve machinery across the facilities.

The role includes on-site maintenance, inspections, repairs and equipment upkeep with a 6:00am–7:00pm, Monday–Friday schedule. Salary up to £45,000 per annum and 20 days of holiday are offered, with a preference for candidates from a food manufacturing background.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance of industrial equipment and site inspections.
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
• Food manufacturing background is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and repairs on site equipment.
• Attend to breakdowns quickly to minimise downtime.
• Hold weekly strip and clean-down of production machinery.
• Maintain stock of spare parts.
• Perform additional duties as required.
