A leading diagnostics company in Northern Ireland is seeking a full-time Maintenance Engineer to ensure minimal downtime through proactive maintenance strategies. The role involves troubleshooting equipment issues, conducting preventive maintenance, and supporting new installations. Candidates should have a NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and 3-5 years of relevant maintenance experience, particularly in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of manufacturing maintenance or related experience.
• Experience with equipment validation and maintenance.
• Able to work flexible hours as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned preventive maintenance on various machinery.
• Identify root causes of machine breakdowns and create solutions.
• Conduct risk assessments for health and safety compliance.

Skills

Preventative maintenance practices

Fault finding and problem solving

Knowledge of PLC/PC control systems

Ability to read technical documents

Experience with motor control and process controls

Experience in a CGMP environment

Education

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
