Job summary

STERIS IP is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to maintain and repair plant services and sterilisation equipment across IP Sites in the UK. The role operates Monday to Friday with dayshift hours (07:00-17:00) and an on-call rota.

Travel to other Steris sites is required, with autonomous use of the works system to schedule PPMs and inspections. You will work within a sterile processing team, supporting continuous improvement and training initiatives, ensuring compliance with HTM 01-01 and quality

Qualifications

• Must be apprentice trained engineer or equivalent.
• Must have 2 years Engineering experience within Facilities and Manufacturing.
• Mechanical or electrical trained/qualified.
• Full UK Driving license- max 3 points.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all building plant services and machines.
• Fault find on engineering plant including voltage systems and controls.
• Ensure timely maintenance, test inspection and repairs for facilities and decontamination equipment.
• Provide technical leadership to oversee third-party contractors and service engineers.
• Perform weekly tests to maintain sterilizers and washers per HTM 01-01.
• Plan and organise major planned works and service interruptions.
